What does a Keurig brewer sound like?

One of our Twitter followers - @maderradio - asked what a Keurig brewer sounds like in operation. To answer his question, I recorded the sounds a Keurig B155 Platinum Home Brewer makes while starting up and while brewing a K-Cup - Tully’s French Roast, if you were wondering.
This is my Keurig which has a permanent and frequently visited home on my kitchen countertop. It was early in the morning and the brewer had been turned off for at least 10 hours. I aimed the microphone at the brewer and held it about level with the top of the brewer for the length of the recording.
Brewer Start-Up (2:34)
This first recording is the brewer starting up after being off for 10 hours. The initial click you hear is me toggling the on/off switch. This is followed by the brewer heating the water in the internal tank in preparation for brewing.
K-Cup Brew Cycle (1:43)
This second recording is me inserting my K-Cup into the brewer, choosing a brew size and pressing the brew button. The coffee is then brewed. The sounds you hear at the end of the brewing cycle is the pump drawing in more water.
I hope this helps @maderradio and anyone else interested in knowing what a Keurig K-Cup Brewer sounds like during a normal- startup or brew cycle. If you have any other questions regarding Keurig Brewers, K-Cups or other coffee related interests, hit us up on Twitter, @theCoffeeKing!
